Over £30k raised in Brit Trust White Label sale

We’re delighted to report that our white label sale of May 5th raised an incredible £33k for the charitable work of the Brit Trust. 100+ rare white label test pressings were sold, with bidders especially keen on signed examples from The Cure (£2,700), PJ Harvey (£1,800), Kylie Minogue (£1,250 and £1,100), Jaded Hearts Club (£900). Our first Beatles sale of the year is a compact but impressive affair with some real standout lots and some truly unique items. Here’s what we see as the ‘star lots’... GEOFFREY BRITTON’S WINGS USED DRUM KIT AND RARE ACETATES. Two fantastic lots here at #99 and #100, both consigned by Wings drummer Geoffrey Britton. Offered up is the kit he used on sessions for Wings inc on One Hand Clapping and for tracks on ‘Venus and Mars’. Also from Geoffrey, an excellent acetate collection, four extremely rare single sided discs comprising the aforementioned ‘One Hand Clapping’ sessions.
