Our next Vinyl Highlights auction takes place from 9am on Wednesday 30th September, with a huge and wonderfully varied selection of collectable vinyl spanning rock 'n' roll, classic rock, prog and psych through to punk, post-punk, indie, alternative, metal, electronic, jazz, soul and more.
Across more than 500 lots are rare original pressings, demos and promos, coloured vinyl, test pressings and acetates, BBC and radio material, Japanese and overseas issues, sealed records and some superb archive-condition collections.
Rare Nirvana Bleach Pink & White Marbled Vinyl
One of the standout lots is an exceptionally rare 1992 US pressing of Nirvana's Bleach on pink and white marbled vinyl, from a run of just 500 copies.
Numbered 157, the vinyl is in superb EX+ condition and retains its original numbered hype sticker. The lot also includes a blue/teal vinyl copy of Sliver/Dive and a UK In Bloom 7".

Five Rare Original Elvis Presley Sun Records Singles
Another major highlight is a remarkable group of five original Elvis Presley Sun 45s, bringing together some of the recordings that launched his career.
The collection includes That's All Right, Good Rockin' Tonight, Baby Let's Play House, Milkcow Blues Boogie and Mystery Train.

Rare Banksy Vinyl - Dirty Funker Future Orange Radar Artwork
Street art and vinyl collectors should look out for the scarce orange Radar Banksy artwork variant of Dirty Funker's Future 12" on Spirit Recordings.
The record and sleeve are both graded EX, with the original hype sticker still intact.

Prince The Black Album - Rare US Peach Vinyl Promo
Among the Prince highlights is a scarce 1994 US promotional peach-vinyl pressing of The Black Album. Issued in limited quantities as a promotional release, this example comes with particularly interesting provenance: the vendor worked for Warner Brothers and was involved with the promotion of the 1994 releases.

Rare Prog & Psych Vinyl - Major Vertigo Swirl Collection
Progressive-rock collectors are extremely well catered for. An original UK stereo copy of Spring's highly sought-after self-titled 1971 RCA Neon LP is estimated at £200-300, while an extensive run of original Vertigo Swirl pressings includes material by Colosseum, Gentle Giant, Assagai, Black Sabbath, Ramases, Jade Warrior, Nucleus, Catapilla, Patto, Gravy Train and many more.
Japanese Vinyl Pressings - The Beatles, Bowie, Prince & More
A particularly strong section of the auction is devoted to Japanese vinyl pressings, covering an enormous range of genres.
Highlights include a 22-LP Beatles and solo collection with OBIs, alongside Japanese collections devoted to jazz, punk and new wave, prog, funk and soul, hard rock and metal, classic rock and pop, Brazilian music, soundtracks and Japanese city pop.
Artists range from The Beatles, John Coltrane and Miles Davis to Sex Pistols, The Cure, New Order, Prince, Michael Jackson, Led Zeppelin, Judas Priest, David Bowie and The Rolling Stones.
Punk, Post-Punk & Indie Vinyl Records
There is exceptional depth for punk and alternative collectors, with substantial groups featuring Crass, Joy Division, The Cure, Sex Pistols, Buzzcocks, Discharge, Subhumans, The Exploited, Stiff Little Fingers, Dead Kennedys, Cocteau Twins, Felt, The Chameleons, The Smiths, The Clash, Siouxsie and the Banshees and many more.
Look out too for a fully signed Muse Muscle Museum 7", included with two further clear-vinyl Muse singles.
Collectors of later alternative music will find everything from Mazzy Star, Spiritualized and My Bloody Valentine to Kyuss, Stereolab, DJ Shadow, Burial, Wilco, Beach House, Little Simz and Kendrick Lamar, alongside numerous original 1990s pressings, signed copies and limited releases.
Rare 7" Singles, Demos, Promos, Acetates & Test Pressings
The catalogue is also packed with rare 7" vinyl - from rock 'n' roll, beat, mod, psych and soul through to punk, new wave, indie and unusual overseas pressings.
The auction closes with an especially impressive collection of approximately 280 original UK 1960s rock, beat and pop singles, predominantly in company sleeves and described as generally EX+ to archive condition.
Along the way are demos, acetates, white labels, test pressings, radio and transcription discs, promotional copies, sealed records, unusual overseas issues and numerous collections in exceptional condition - making this a sale well worth exploring beyond the headline lots.
