Omega Auctions is delighted to present The Beatles Collection, going under the hammer on Tuesday 29 September 2026 from 12.30pm.
With over 300 lots of Beatles memorabilia and vinyl, leading the auction is one of Liverpool’s best-known modern Beatles landmarks.
John Lennon “Peace” Statue from Penny Lane, Liverpool
Created by artist Laura Lian (1952–2024), this monumental bronze statue of John Lennon has stood at the top end of Penny Lane since 2022, where it has been seen and photographed by tens of thousands of Beatles fans from around the world.
Standing approximately 6ft high, the bronze work was created to continue John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s message of peace and has become a familiar fixture on Beatles tours across Liverpool.
Following the auction, the statue will be returned to the foundry where it was cast to be professionally cleaned and repatinated before collection by its new owner. A replica will subsequently take its place on Penny Lane.
