Our aim is to get you the best possible price for your items and we will ensure that they are marketed to buyers and collectors both across the UK and worldwide. We recognise that to ensure you get the best price for your items, the right people need to be informed at the right time and this is reflected in our comprehensive marketing campaigns in which we target specialist magazines, websites, local press, relevant events and direct SMS/email marketing to potential buyers to inform them of forthcoming sales.
Prospective buyers will be able to view our catalogue via our website omegaauctions.co.uk and also via auction catalogue sites such as the-saleroom.co.uk and ukauctioneers.co.uk thus ensuring global coverage.
Telephone lines are open Monday to Friday 9.30am to 4.30pm. The Warrington office is usually open for appraisals on Wednesdays and Thursdays (by appointment) and the Stockport office is open on Mondays (by appointment). We may also be available on other days by appointment. If you would like to bring items in for appraisal, please call in advance to ensure that somebody will be available.
We also have collection days across the North West (Ellesmere Port, Warrington, Frodsham, Liverpool, Leeds, Chester and other towns/cities upon demand). If you have items you would like to enter into our auctions but are unable to visit our office, please contact us to find the most convenient option.
In some cases, we may be able to collect items from your home, please call to discuss.
If you prefer, you can email details/photographs of your items to firstname.lastname@example.org in order to get an initial indication of the guide price prior to bringing your items in.
If sending items to us via post or courier, please send to Omega Auctions, Unit 3B Penketh Business Park, 66-70 Liverpool Rd, Great Sankey, Warrington, WA5 1QX. Please let us know once items have been sent so that we know to expect them.
Payment is by bank transfer within 28 days of the sale.
Each lot is subject to a £2.50 + VAT lot fee, which is payable for all lots whether sold or unsold. Our standard rate of commission is 17.5% + VAT on the hammer price of all lots and there is a minimum commission of £10 + VAT per lot. Reduced commission rates may be agreed in respect of high value articles and large consignments. Signed items requiring authentication are subject to an authentication charge of £10 + VAT.
