Selling at Omega Auctions

Our aim is to get you the best possible price for your items and we will ensure that they are marketed to buyers and collectors both across the UK and worldwide. We recognise that to ensure you get the best price for your items, the right people need to be informed at the right time and this is reflected in our comprehensive marketing campaigns in which we target specialist magazines, websites, local press, relevant events and direct SMS/email marketing to potential buyers to inform them of forthcoming sales.
 

Prospective buyers will be able to view our catalogue via our website omegaauctions.co.uk and also via auction catalogue sites such as the-saleroom.com,liveauctioneers.com, ukauctioneers.co.uk, invaluable.com and artfact.com, thus ensuring global coverage.
 

Our office in Stockport is open Tuesday - Friday 9.00am to 4.00pm. As we may be in and out of the office doing collections, if you would like to bring items in for appraisal, please call in advance to ensure that somebody will be available.
 

We also have collection days across the North West (Liverpool, Leeds, Chester and other towns/cities upon demand). If you have items you would like to enter into our auctions but are unable to visit our office, please contact us to find the most convenient option.
 

In some cases, we may be able to collect items from your home, please call to discuss.
 

If you prefer, you can email details/photographs of your items to office@omegaauctions.co.uk in order to get an initial indication of the guide price prior to bringing your items in.
 

Payment

Payment will be made by bank transfer within 15 working days of sale.
 

Selling Charges

All charges are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Our standard rate of commission is 18% on the hammer price of all lots. Reduced commission rates may be agreed in respect of high value articles and large consignments. There is a lot entry fee of £3 per lot for all items with the exception of signed items requiring authentication, which are subject to a lot fee of £5. The lot fee covers insurance, catalogue entry, photography and authentication where applicable.  There is a minimum commission of £5 per lot.
